By accessing or using HexUniverse (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and HexUniverse.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use our Platform or services. We reserve the right to revise or amend these Terms at any time, and your continued usage will indicate your acceptances of the revised conditions.

HexUniverse is tailored specifically for students and members of accredited college/university campuses. To register and transact on the platform:

• You must represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
• You must possess an active, valid university email address (.edu or regional equivalent).
• You must successfully verify your student credentials when prompted during account creation.

When you create an account, you agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete details about yourself. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and account passwords.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. HexUniverse will not be liable for any losses or damages arising from your failure to protect your login information.

HexUniverse facilitates a student marketplace. It is a peer-to-peer connection service:

• Platform Role: HexUniverse provides the virtual marketplace infrastructure but is not a party to any contract, gig, exchange, or agreement made between users.
• Service Agreements: Users who buy/sell skills, gigs, or trade resources must align on terms, deliverables, and costs directly. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listings.
• Payments: Payment processing integrations are provided for convenience. Users agree to fulfill payment commitments once services or goods are delivered as agreed.

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purposes or in violation of these Terms. Prohibited activities include:

• Listing illegal services, academic integrity violations (cheating tools, plagiarism aids), or prohibited goods.
• Harassing, threatening, or defrauding other platform users.
• Impersonating any person or university representative.
• Using automated scrapers, bots, or scripts to access our platform database.
• Attempting to compromise the security or integrity of our digital systems and hosting servers.

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including code, design systems, assets, logos, and copy, are owned by or licensed to HexUniverse.

By uploading listings, text, images, or descriptions to the Platform, you grant HexUniverse a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, display, and promote your content to facilitate Platform services.

Crucial Warning:

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. HEXUNIVERSE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL HEXUNIVERSE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, GIGS, PRODUCTS, OR SERVICE CONTRACTS ARRANGED VIA THE PLATFORM.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which HexUniverse operates, without regard to conflicts of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of these Terms or the Platform shall be settled exclusively in the state or federal courts located within that jurisdiction.
